Like every year this year too we welcome you all on our blog
ourbappa.blogspot.in this is an initiative we started last year carrying
forward the idea of bringing digital Ganesha and including him in our daily
lifestyle and work.
Today when we welcomed Bappa, he recollected his past
moments with his devotees. He told us how our culture has changed with time and
the secret of why people sprayed colours while bringing him home. He told us
people spray colours in air so that they could not differentiate between each
other and embrace into the same colour of joy and enjoy the festival of joy and
togetherness forgetting past regrets.
He had a different smile and charm in his eyes while he was
telling us about it. Today, we all have lost our traditional culture methods
that rejoice in fun is all lost in bands, DJ’s and fireworks. Let’s try and
bring back some of it this year.
We bring you all welcoming mantra of lord Ganesha with its Sanskrit
meaning which you can chant whenever you bring him home.
Pratyuharakam devam musavahanamuttamam
Lamboradam brhatkarnam vande’ ham gananayakam
“O You who takes away all impediments, O excellent God whose
vehicle is the mouse, who has a belly and large ears, I give praises to you, O
Lord of the Multitudes”.
Musikastham brharkarnam sarvavighna vinasanam pathi sthitam
cadyapujyam vande’ ham gananayakam
“To the lord who stands upon a mouse, who has great and
large ears that hear every callof his devotees, O remover of all difficulties,
shelter me as I begin my worship! I adore you, lord of magnitudes”.
